Lion Stuffed Animals

The lion is the most magnificent beast of the jungle and thrive in areas such as the savannas, woodlands, and grasslands. Did you know the lion's fur coat responds to their surrounding environment? The lighter tan color are found on lions in hot areas. Lions that live in a more treed area have darker fur and a thicker mane with the hair around their face being black or dark brown. Every lion also has a long thin tail with a tuft on the end. These huge cats like to sleep a lot, as much as 18 hours every day! When the lion is awake the time is spent guarding their territory and hunting for food. They like to communicate with other lions by roaring. The lion's roar can be very loud, and can be heard up to 5 miles away!
