The stuffed hippo is the biggest land animal alive in the world and currently lives in Africa. The hippo stuffed animals are a four legged mammal and has a gigantic figure. The stuffed hippos weight is distributed evenly by the four webbed toes on each of their feet. Their skin is very thick, slightly gray and heavy, which weighs around a half a ton all by itself. The stuffed hippo is totally hairless except for some whiskers on their tail and near their mouth.
Although the hippo seems cute and cuddly, it is actually one of the most aggressive land mammals. However, you can cuddle with a stuffed hippo above safely all you want. Surprisingly, the stuffed hippos are social creatures but enjoy to fight other hippos. To warn off enemies, they will roar, give a big yawn, and scoop water in their mouths. The hippo stuffed animals employ their large and pointed canines which are close to two feet in length for fighting, giving rise to an insecure surrounding. A majority of stuffed hippos have reminders of earlier fights in the form of scars and extensive bruises on account of fighting everyday.
The hippo stuffed animals live in herds that can be as small as 10 or as large as 200. The clan of stuffed hippos spend their daytime reveling in water that is not too deep. They have their own goggles that let them see underwater, this adaptation lets them live in the water all the time. They are able to hear and breathe quite well in water as they are equipped with small ears and nostrils positioned at the top of their head. While the stuffed hippo enjoys swimming, it's too big to float. But, they seem to be nimble-footed inside water similar to a ballet dancer. This is where the name Hippopotamus comes from due to the Greek meaning river horse. Still, a hippo does not resemble a horse, it resembles more of a pig.
During the evening hours, the hippo stuffed animals will come upon shore and start eating grass for up to 6 hours. Each night they will eat up to ninety pounds of food. The diet of the stuffed hippos consists of grass and fallen fruit close to them. They stuffed hippo stays near water while hunting for food. This is crucial because the hippo can become dehydrated if it stays out of the water for a long period of time.
