The raccoon stuffed animal has a gorgeous gray and black ringed tail and a masked face. The raccoon plush body grows up to three feet long and a foot of their length includes their long bushy tail. Stuffed raccoons can be found in many places such as prairies, forests, and marshes. Raccoon plush are very adaptable creatures and can find and eat a variety of things. This is why they are often found in the city as well.
The raccoon stuffed animal diet is very diverse. When it comes to food the raccoon plush is not a picky eater. However, the stuffed raccoons would prefer food found in water such as fish, frogs, and snails over human garbage and pet food any day. While in the forest they love munching on fallen fruit, seeds, nuts and vegetables. Their diet also includes insects, slugs, mice, birds and bird’s eggs. Contrary to popular belief, the raccoon does not wash their food with their front paws. They prefer to moisten their food in nearby water to better digest it.
Most stuffed raccoons are solitary creatures. Each raccoon stuffed animal has a home range of approximately a mile. Within this range they will make many dens changing where they sleep every few days. Raccoon plush love to sleep in empty burrows, large rock piles, hollow logs, or a whole found in a tree. In the city they can make a den out of boxes, chimneys, and attics. The raccoon stuffed animal only stays in their den for a long period of time during the winter months when they are hibernating.
The female raccoon plush can have up to three babies at a time, once a year. The baby stuffed raccoons will stay with their mother for a year until they find their own mile territory to live in, often nearby their mother. The adult raccoon plush can weigh up to forty pounds depending on how much food is found nearby. Wild stuffed raccoons have a lifespan of approximately three years due to predators such as cougars, coyotes, bobcats, and even large birds such as eagles. However, a domesticated raccoon stuffed animal has been known to live up to thirteen years old.
