This helps them to blend into their surroundings and not be easily seen by their predators. Stuffed snakes also have no legs, eyelids, or external ears.
The snake stuffed animal most defined characteristic is their ability to smell. The snake has a long tongue that they put into the air to detect scents nearby. After detecting a scent, their special organ in their mouth called "Jacobson" analyzes it. Some stuffed snakes even have this special organ located on their face to let them know of temperature changes. Both the scent and temperature changes informs the snake of a nearby predator or prey.
The stuufed snakes prey includes various rodents, frogs, lizards, and bats. The snake stuffed animal catches their food in a variety of ways. Most snakes wrap their body around their prey and constrict them until they no longer move. They also use their powerful and flexible jaws to catch and swallow prey that is larger than their head. The snake also has a powerful internal digestive liquid that kills their prey while inside their body.
Among the snake stuffed animal species there are ten forms of flying snakes! They can be found in the jungles of South Asia. This stuffed snakes body length is two to four feet long and they know how to use their body to glide from tree to tree. They will first slither to the end of a tree branch then hang from the tree into a letter "S" shape. After this shape they will squish their body to half it's length and spring in the air. While the flying snake stuffed animal is in the air it knows how to move it's body to glide to a precise location. These stuffed snakes are known to have better eyesight than their relatives and even have binocular vision.
