Stuffed Reindeer | Stuffed Rudolph | Reindeer Stuffed Animals
Reindeer Stuffed Animal Facts:
Reindeer stuffed animals are gorgeous mammals that are native to North America and Europe most commonly in forests or mountainous terrain. Stuffed reindeer can be found all over the world in a variety of species. The North American Caribou happens to be the most common reindeer stuffed animal sub species. Unlike other deer, reindeer males and females both have antlers. In winter the antlers on the stuffed rudolph are shed and then regrown at the end of the season. Three hundred pounds is a lot of weight but it's normal for a mature stuffed reindeer which can also reach an average height of nearly four feet.
A reindeer stuffed animal is native to a cold climate and typically travel with their herd. Herds typically consist of twenty or even thousands of reindeer which travel together. Searching for something to eat and maintaining their body heat keep reindeer constantly on the prowl. Their hooves are constructed in such a way that enables them to navigate ice and snow for long distances as if they were snowshoes. It is not unheard of for the stuffed rudolph to trek for many miles in search of fresh food, especially in the warm summer months.
When stuffed reindeer are hungry, they enjoy moss, grass, and lichen. They are strict herbivores, and eat little during the fall and winter. Shrubs and grass are a favorite snack of reindeer. It is not easy for the reindeer stuffed animals to find ample sustenance in the harshest time of the winter season. During this season, in order to reach the frozen grass underneath, they will dig holes through the ice even several feet deep. These stuffed reindeer will also readily eat any vegetation they come across whether below or above the have snowfall.
Reindeer reproduce normally in May with a female typically delivering one baby. After having lived for only one day, the infant stuffed rudolph was able to walk with much more velocity than the older man. Amazingly within ten minutes after being born a baby reindeer stuffed animal, weighing only fifteen pounds can stand on its own. Unlike others species, the newborn reindeer stuffed animals does not sport a coat that disguises it from predators. At one year of age their antlers will begin to grow, thus giving them some form of defense over their adversaries. The young will be able to produce loud sounds with the membrane on it's neck. It is interesting to note that the average stuffed reindeer only lives to be thirteen.
