Fantasy Plush Stuffed Animals
Dragon Stuffed Toy
Dragons have been depicted throughout history as a terrifying foe that breathes fire on anything that gets in its way. In early myths, dragons were often seen guarding treasure, holding back floods, and dispensing knowledge. Given its protective nature, it’s no surprise to find dragons in stories where that is their sole purpose.

In 1963, the folk singing group Peter, Paul, and Mary made the 1959 poem "Puff the Magic Dragon" into a famous pop song. It tells a sad tale of a young boy named Jackie Paper and his best friend, an ageless dragon named Puff. They share many wonderful imaginary adventures together but when Jackie Paper grows up, he casts Puff aside. Puff, full of sadness, returns to his cave only to never emerge again.
Fantasy Stuffed Animals
With fantasy plush, children will know no bounds when it comes to what they choose to do with unicorns, Pegasus and dragons. Perhaps they can all be good (or all bad), or even a mix of the two. These three animals may become part of a child’s creative mind in which they are all dropped into a world that is completely foreign to all of them – from the flora to the fauna to the surroundings. It may even be a fantastical world that is somehow connected to our world in some way, but with lots of fantasy plush unicorns, Pegasus and dragons as part of the scenery. The possibilities are endless!
Plush Fantasy Stuffed Animals
Unicorns, Pegasus, and dragons are all part of mythical worlds that have long been depicted in books and movies. Because they’re so popular, these three animals have been replicated into fantasy plush toys.
Plush Unicorns
Unicorn sightings throughout history have been rare but allegedly go back as far as Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. It has even been reported that Confucius, Alexander The Great, and Julius Caesar, have all seen one. With a plush unicorn, mysterious [and rare] sightings would certainly not be a problem for its very lucky owner!
Unicorn Soft Toy
Did you know that a unicorn’s horn was sometimes referred to as an ‘Alicorn’ and was very valuable? As it was more expensive than gold, only Kings and Emperors could afford to buy them. The horn was in great demand as it was reputed to promise a long and healthy life, however, coming across one that was completely intact was rare; bull horns, goat horns and even dog bones were often used as poor substitutes when the real thing couldn’t be found.
Unicorn Stuffed Animals
Most children that read books (or have books read to them) and/or see movies, have likely come across unicorns in the stories. Unicorn stuffed animals are fantastic mythical creatures that are shrouded in legend. There are so many tales about unicorns, in fact, that they are just too numerous to mention! Unicorns are now so popular in fact, that parents should not be surprised when their child asks for a unicorn stuffed toy instead of a standard teddy bear.
