Gorilla Plush | Giant Plush Gorillas
Gorilla Plush Facts:
The adorable plush gorilla species reside in the Zaire River Basin and are very sociable and friendly with nearby apes. The plush gorillas display affection by grooming each other and are family oriented. Every gorilla plush is easily able to recognize the faces of family and friends. Fascinatingly, each plush gorilla possesses a distinct nose print, in the same manner as our fingerprints. Plush gorillas are known to raise their offspring with up to thirty other apes. The Silverback is a dominate male in the circle.
Mothers teach baby plush gorillas everything including diet and correct social behavior. A baby gorilla plush obeys the mother based on stern looks and grunts that voice disapproval. Along with playfulness, the mother and her baby will display a surprising amount of love and affection. It is common for a plush gorilla to smile, chuckle and purr! A gorilla plush makes more than 20 various noises that carry for a mile. In addition, plush gorillas have been demonstrated to possess great intelligence and ability to recall events for long periods.
Plush gorillas navigate the jungle on all four limbs dragging their knuckles. At a height of six feet and a weight of nearly 600 pounds, a male plush gorilla is quite a large specimen. A female gorilla plush will reach five feet tall and weigh as much as two hundred pounds. With a big toe that rests far away from their smaller toes, their foot is unique. Plush gorilla hands are very much like those of a human with a smaller thumb. This comes in handy when they need to climb or gather food.
While foraging for food, they enjoy certain insects, fruits, and other vegetation. Most plush gorillas consume a lot of food, up to fifty pounds daily. They do not have to drink water very often. This is because their diet includes foliage, and also because they drink dew that has collected on nearby leaves. If they need a drink the gorilla plush puts their hands in water and suck the water from their fur. The Lawland and Mountain Apes species will live to around the age of thirty.
The population of plush gorillas are slowly becoming endangered. Presently just 450 gorillas survive in their homeland.
